We are looking to appoint an organised and detail-oriented individual, with a keen interest in data management. We have an exceptional opportunity for you to join our vibrant team as the Management Information Co-ordinator. This role will be pivotal in delivering comprehensive data management and supporting in the lead for timetabling.

The Management Information Co-ordinator will demonstrate strong ICT proficiency and ideally have experience in utilising MIS systems, preferably Arbor, however, full training will be provided.  

Understanding and experience of an educational setting would be highly desirable. The successful candidate will play a supporting role in rolling out Arbor across our schools and setting up the system to meet school needs, supported by professionals at Arbor.

Principal Responsibilities

·     Make data and analysis of data available to relevant stakeholders at the appropriate time.

·     Produce reports to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner to meet internal and externally set deadlines, e.g. student reports, whole school or departmental assessment data.

·     Produce regular reports to meet statutory requirements and deadlines.

·     Ensure the integrity of all data held in the school.

·     Maintain accurate academic student information.

·     Complete data protocols and processes including year-end procedures within Sims.

·     Lead on the transfer of data from SIMS to new MIS, checking for accuracy

·     Lead on the set up of the new MIS for the start of the academic year

·     Analyse data for presentation to the Senior Leadership Team, Governors and other stakeholders as required.

·     Contribute to the construction and maintenance of the Timetable in liaison with Senior Leaders:

·     Build timetable blocks

·     Resource classes with teachers and rooms

·     Schedule lessons

·     Update staffing and room changes

·     Ensure timely submission of the following requirements by the LA and DfE:

·     Census

·     Examination results
