Montessori/Early Years Teacher

Crickets is an Outstanding nursery school that was established in 2004 by Celia Stephenson and was originally set within the grounds of South Hampstead Cricket Club on Milverton Road, NW6. In 2011, Crickets moved to their beautiful new building on Chatsworth Road NW2 overlooking Brondesbury Bowling Green. The building is also lucky enough to have its own private gardens which the children can freely explore.

Children are admitted between 2 and 5 years and follow a carefully structured programme of education based on the Montessori Method. As well as learning mathematics, reading, writing, and cultural subjects, the curriculum also incorporates a vast range of creative activities including languages, music, drama and yoga. The experience gained in the exciting environment of Crickets Montessori Nursery School gives children a firm foundation for the next stage of schooling. Our aim is to provide a safe, happy and caring environment in which each child develops at their own pace to reach their full potential.

Crickets is looking for a Montessori/Early Years Teacher with at least two years experience, who will lead a dedicated team working with a group of 2 - 3 year olds. The position is full time Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm, term time only. The successful candidate will have a passion for young children, be fun, creative and most importantly have a good sense of humour. They should be self motivated, have a sound understanding of the EYFS, good written English and communication skills.

Salary is competitive and dependent on experience and qualifications and will be discussed at interview stage.
