Fairfields Primary School and Nursery is expanding its Nursery hours and is seeking to appoint a part-time Nursery Teacher to start September 2024 working alongside our existing Nursery Teacher. Our Nursery will cater for up to 60 pupils (no more than 30 per session) with 30-hour weeks available for qualifying parents.

The Nursery teacher teaching hours are from 8.45am – 11.45am and from 12.30pm – 3.30pm, i.e. two three-hour sessions per day. There is more information about our Nursery on our website at www.fairfields.herts.sch.uk

We are looking for a highly committed, creative, enthusiastic and able teacher to join our large, friendly primary school in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.

We are looking for an ECT or QT who has:

  • Relevant experience or training in EYFS
  • High ambition for the achievement of every child
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the qualities to motivate, support and inspire colleagues 
  • A hard-working, positive, ‘can do’ attitude to school life can confidently communicate with parents, carers and class teachers; and
  • An understanding of, and will embrace, the school's ethos.
