PASTORAL MANAGER
Status: Permanent
Hours per Week: 20 hrs per week (10.30am to 2.30pm)
Weeks per year: 39 weeks (Term time only + INSET Days)
We would like to offer a part-time post of 20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year to provide behaviour management support over the break and lunchtime periods and to co-ordinate and line manage our large team of midday supervisors.
Experience in working with primary age children would be expected and previous training in behaviour management within an education setting would be an advantage.
A good personal standard of mathematics and literacy is expected. This post is considered to be a customer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers. The school therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the person specification. These will be applied during the recruitment/selection and probationary stages.
