The role     

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to work in our Peterborough office.  It is essential that you have in depth knowledge of payroll as you will be responsible for a number of allocated schools. Specific experience of processing payroll within an educational establishment would be advantageous.     An ability to work to tight deadlines and strong communication skills are a must for this role.       

About You     

Ideally you will have the following desirable attributes: 

  • Experience of working within a busy payroll department, with good working knowledge of ICT/payroll systems, particularly Excel. Knowledge of Payrite payroll system is desirable 
  • Excellent relationship with stakeholders. 
  • Very good attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and an ability to explain sensitive matters to people on a personal level especially on the telephone. 
  • Ideally you will be a strong team player able to work with others and willing to share work load.
  • Proactive
