We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Performing Arts Technician to assist in the smooth operation of Performing Arts teaching at the College. 

Based within the School of Sport, PE, Performing Arts and Music, you will be responsible for providing training, advice and hands-on support to both staff and students. Duties will include:

  • Coordinating and managing the setup, operation, and supervision of instruments, PA systems, and other equipment for various events, concerts, and productions both on-campus and off-site.
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive booking system for performing arts equipment and facilities.
  • Conducting regular maintenance checks, arranging repairs, and servicing of all performing arts equipment and instruments.
  • Designing, rigging, and operating lighting, sound, and technical equipment as needed.

The successful candidate should have specialist knowledge of a range of Performing Arts equipment, along with proven experience in delivering effective technical support and training. They should be willing to undertake relevant training and have confidence in working with and supporting students in the 16-19 age range.
