We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Personal Assistant to our Senior Leadership Team

The successful candidate will be a committed, enthusiastic individual, who will develop a comprehensive understanding of the needs of our Senior Leadership Team and the ethos of our school in order to provide outstanding administrative and management support. They will be expected to exercise considerable initiative in performing delegated duties, seeking advice where necessary.

They will manage multiple diaries and respond to/action Parent/Carer queries using the utmost discretion where necessary. The ability to communicate in a warm, supportive, understanding and professional manner is crucial. Excellent spoken and written communication, coupled with excellent IT skills is essential.


Day to day aspects of the role include:

-         Supporting members of the senior leadership team with administrative and organisational aspects of their role.

-         Management of the Senior Leadership Team diaries, handling all appointments and meetings and briefing relevant members on upcoming events.

-         Providing meeting support – book / minute meetings as required.

-         Management of key email inboxes.

-         Complaints Management.

-         Administration of suspensions and exclusions.

-         Governor Liaison.

-         Management of the whole school calendar and liaising with the appropriate individuals to ensure that this is planned effectively throughout the school year.

-         Providing administrative support to the Cover Manager when business levels dictate.

-         Supporting the senior staff in charge of educational visits with all aspects of trips administration, ensuring that school policy is followed.

-         Actively promoting the school through management of social media channels. Collating information from staff members regarding current activities and scheduling these into the social media calendar. Responding to online feedback in a positive and constructive way.

The ideal candidate will be able to thrive in fast-paced work environments, able to work to strict deadlines in a timely manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are therefore essential.


They will have a strong understanding of school data management systems and be competent in the use of MS Office software, especially Word and Excel.

Previous experience with software such as SIMS is desirable.
