ABC Teachers is currently recruiting for a passionate Teacher for a long-term, full-time role in an inclusive Special Educational Needs school in Birmingham, starting in January 2022.
About the role:
• Adaptable and understanding of the children’s additional needs, and able to deliver engaging and exciting lessons.
• Supporting students both academically and emotionally alongside a team of passionate Teaching Assistants.
• You will be working with small class sizes, with students who have a diagnosis of Autism and social and emotional difficulties.
• Creating a positive atmosphere for pupils, encouraging them to achieve their full potential in a safe environment.
About the School:
• A progressive and inclusive SEND school to the East of Birmingham that caters for students of primary age with a diagnosis of ASC.
• A school where the needs of the children are at the forefront of everything they do, with a positive and supportive ethos.
Who we're looking for:
• An reliable and experienced teacher who can adapt their teaching whilst delivering engaging lessons.
• A good knowledge of teaching within an SEND setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a larger team.
• You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with an SEN secondary or primary classroom or nursery setting (within the last 5 years) that we can gain references for.
