Baobab College is a dynamic and innovative learning environment with children at the heart of everything we do. We are now seeking to appoint an experienced, strategic leader to guide the school through the next stage of development.

The appointed candidate will combine a track record of highly successful school leadership experience with strong communication skills and both the vision and strategic capabilities to contribute to the expansion of a leading international school. A confident understanding of the latest curriculum developments in education is essential, as is the professional authority to inspire an educationally ambitious school in pursuit of even greater success.

About Baobab College

 Baobab College is a independent primary and secondary school in Lusaka, Zambia. Lusaka is the nation’s capital and largest city, with a population of 1.8 million. The school is located on an expansive green campus to the south of the city. Children are taught from two and a half to eighteen years of age, in day or boarding facilities. Students follow the National Curriculum for England and Wales and students sit the Cambridge International Examinations at the end of Year 11 (IGCSE) and years 12 and 13 (AS and A level). 

Sporting facilities at Baobab College include an eight lane 25m swimming pool and an expansive playing field. The school hosts national league galas, and in 2006 hosted the Sub Saharan short course championships. Rugby facilities frequently cater for the needs of national teams from Botswana, Kenya and Swaziland. The school also enjoys access to Chilanga Golf Course and hosts an annual PTA corporate Golf Day.
