GEMS Modern Academy, Gurugram (GMA-S, Gurugram) is a progressive coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE Indian Curriculum). The school has been open since 2014 and currently has 340 students Foundation Stage to Year 9. This is an exciting time to join the school as its moves to offer both the CBSE and Cambridge curriculum, IGCSE and A-levels. At capacity the school will grow to 2000 students across the full age range, 3-18 year olds. 

The School sits in a beautifully landscaped and aesthetically designed student-friendly campus spread over an area of five acres of land.  At GMA-S we provide a holistic education environment that fosters academic excellence, physical well-being, psychological and spiritual health, social consciousness and concern for the environment. We have a wide range of extra curricular and enhancement opportunities that enable our children to thrive.

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Principal with the drive and vision to lead this growing school from April 2018 or earlier if possible.

As an outstanding leader you will have:

• proven experience as a Principal or Vice Principal in a British/National Curriculum for England School in the UK or internationally.
• educational expertise and a track record of developing and sustaining very high standards;
• excellent communication skills and an ability to create an exciting learning community that will motivate and inspire students and captivate a community;
• the ability to provide strategic direction and set expectations by communicating goals clearly and empowering collaboration in your staff body;
• successful and demonstrable experience of parental engagement and developing a school community where parents, staff and students are integral to its success.
• a cultural understanding and willingness to become part of the community.

You will have also demonstrated a successful track record of student achievement and attainment in a National Curriculum for England School.
