About the role:
You will be responsible for attracting candidates for jobs, including apprenticeships and other funding streams and matching them to temporary or permanent positions with client companies. You'll build positive relationships in order to gain a better understanding of your clients' recruitment needs and requirements.
Working as a recruitment executive, you'll attract candidates by drafting advertising copy for use in a range of media, as well as by networking, headhunting and through referrals. You'll screen candidates, interview them, run background checks and finally match them to their clients. You also provide advice to both clients and candidates on salary levels, training requirements and career opportunities.
About you:
The post holder will be expected to undertake any of the duties set out below, subject to appropriate training, although he or she would normally concentrate on a particular area. However, in order to ensure a range of experience for the benefit of post holder and the College, duties may be rotated from time to time.
1. Experience of working in a target driven sales environment
2. Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with existing and new clients
3. Ability to work in a structured way, independently and as a team member to achieve targets and deadlines.
4. Flexibility in meeting clients in various locations.
5. Strong administrative, planning and organisational skills
6. Good attention to detail
7. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
8. The ability to speak confidently, articulate and respond quickly
9. Patient with an excellent telephone manner, able to put a variety of people quickly at ease
10. Excellent interpersonal skills
11. Good team player
12. A-level equivalent education
