E-ACT are seeking an experienced, professional and dynamic individual to join the National Team. We are looking to appoint a Regional Education Director, who will be accountable for the educational outcomes within the region, and as such, will performance and line manage the Head Teachers within the region to ensure all attainment and progress objectives are being effectively met.

 

About the role

The purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of outstanding education across a number of academies within a region, initially for some of our northern and midlands-based schools. You will need to be a high performing, impact driven person with proven results in your field, both as a leader and through your support of other schools. You will have an unrelenting focus on making sure that teaching and learning is outstanding within every classroom and an ability to identify need, source support and build capacity within your region to ensure impact on outcomes.

 

Our ideal candidate

You will need a professional teaching qualification. You will need significant previous headship experience, preferably within a large organisation. You will need to demonstrate how the support you provided other schools led to improved outcomes.

The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of a range of education setting and have a proven track record of advising and supporting the academies and Headteachers, ensuring that they successfully implement their performance objectives and maintain a central, unrelenting focus on the quality of teaching and learning and outcomes within each academy.

 

The successful candidate

The successful candidate will need to have demonstrated their personal attributes (contained within the person specification) and how these will be used to enable positive and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders. You will be expected to engage confidently and professionally with a range of regional and national colleagues as well as academy staff and ambassadors.
