Job overview

Hampton Academies Trust

c/o Eagle Way, Hampton Vale, Peterborough PE7 8BF.

The Hampton Academies Trust was formed in September 2014 when Hampton College became a convertor academy and formed a multi-academy trust. In September 2017, our second school Hampton Gardens School opened to 180 year 7 students. Hampton Lakes Primary School opened in 2019 and we were delighted to welcome Dogsthorpe Infant School to the trust in December 2020.

Required for September 2024:

School Improvement Lead (Primary)

L6 – L13

We are seeking a well-qualified, exceptional practitioner, who will lead on school improvement work across our primary/infant settings. You will have a track record of securing strong pupil progress and of inspiring and developing colleagues.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented, hardworking colleague to join our trust central team and work with us to make our primary/infant schools truly great learning environments, where children make very strong progress.

The successful candidate will benefit from working with a strong team of trust and school leaders, teachers and support staff, in well-equipped settings. Given the current size of our trust, we envisage you will spend the majority of your time out and about in our schools and will build strong relationships with our teams. You would also be required to build relationships with governors, trustees and new schools joining the trust, or schools seeking support from the trust. This post is an excellent opportunity to develop professionally and work in a stimulating and varied way.

This is offered as a full-time opportunity. Part-time working would be considered in negotiation with the successful candidate.

What we can offer you in return:

·        A fantastic working environment where students are enthusiastic and want to learn.

·        We value our staff and recognise the importance of providing ongoing training opportunities. We offer extensive CPD opportunities with access to National College and support with external courses to promote career development

·        Flexible working and family friendly policies

·        Free onsite parking at all HAT schools

·        Full access to the Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme. Staff have access to free legal advice, medical information, counselling sessions, online self-help tools, factsheets and the wellbeing portal.
