Fulham Cross Girls’ School is an outstanding school, ranked in the top two per cent nationally for progress and shortlisted for the TES Secondary School of the Year, for three consecutive years in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
For this full-time, permanent position available from September 2018, we are looking for a dynamic librarian to take responsibility for our well-equipped library. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about working with young women and have a strong desire to contribute to the cultural life of the school and our community partners.
A recognised librarian qualification is preferred but not essential – ideally we want someone passionate about our ethos who is creative, flexible and a team player. Skills and the desire to develop are more important than experience. Due to the scope for small group work in the role; the post would also be suitable for an English Graduate who is looking to gain experience working in schools before going on to train as a teacher.

For example, our Tuesday morning EMPOWER breakfasts when female captains of industry come to discuss their career path over a croissant with the students.
