The science department at Chiswick School is looking to recruit a full time, term time only Science Technician. This key role is available to start immediately subject to interview and references. We have over 1200 on roll from year 7-13; with an increasing interest in Science A Levels and GCSE Triple Science. We are well resourced with 10 labs arranged over two floors and a conservatory on the ground floor. This is a great place to work with a supportive and friendly team.

We seek a reliable, enthusiastic, organised and experienced person with excellent communication skills.  Biology or Physics Specialisms preferred.  The successful candidate will have a range of responsibilities which facilitate supporting the science team and our learners.   Training / professional development available . 

Responsibilities include:

· Organising, delivering and developing resources for the Science Department to support teaching and learning

· Supporting teachers by assisting in practical lessons as requested

· Assist the technician team in the use, preservation and recycling of equipment

· Support the teaching and technician team with risk assessments

· Stocktaking and ordering resources
