Job overview

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and well-organised Science Technician to join our successful school and support our science department. You will be assisting the teaching staff with the set-up of practical lessons whilst following the mandatory health and safety requirements. If you are committed to supporting our school vision, then this could be the position for you.

Job Purpose

  • To take full responsibility for the provision of technician support to the Science Department and to support the delivery of all practical science lessons.
  • To be responsible for the safe keeping of chemicals, stock levels, preparing resources, organising laboratories and maintaining equipment.
  • To provide information and co-ordinate resources to meet individual needs of all students.
