Are you a skilled and experienced Sixth Form Support Officer looking for a position in an ‘Outstanding’ school?
Glyn School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Sixth Form Support Officer, to join our vibrant Sixth Form Team.
This role would be suited to candidates with a strong administrative background and also experience in a pastoral role within schools.
We are interested in hearing from all candidates, no matter what point in your career you are currently at, and welcome flexible working arrangements.
Your opportunity:
- To provide pastoral support for all Sixth Form students including, timetables, attendance and study support.
- To manage Sixth Form attendance and alerts, liaising with Parents/Carers as required.
- To manage the Sixth Form bursary process.
- To support the DSL with Sixth Form Safeguarding issues and following up on CPOMS alerts as required.
- To promote a professional and friendly point of call to all Sixth Form Students, Parents and Carers and visitors to our school.

The Details:
Start date: 1 September 2024 – Handover days to be arranged in July 2024
Contract type: Permanent
Pay Scale: GLF Specialist £24,982-£28,604
Annual pay (pro-rata): Dependent on experience/service - circa £21,075-£24,131
Working hours: 35 hours per week, term time only
Working pattern: Mon - Fri, 8:00-3.30 (flexible working patterns will be considered)
