Job overview

We are looking for a Sports Centre Duty Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operation of the WISF Sports Centre.

Key accountabilities include:

  • During the school day: lifeguarding all pool sessions. Monitoring pool plant. The cleaning and upkeep of sports centre and facilities. H&S and compliance. Sports Centre administration and First aid.
  • During the Evening: Lifeguarding. Responsible for all clubs and visitors/staff to sports centres and facilities. Monitoring pool plant. Cleaning and upkeep of sports centres and facilities. H&S and compliance. Sports Centre administration and first aid.
  • During the Weekend: Responsible for all clubs, visitors, and staff at sports centres and facilities. Running swim school and ensuring swimming teachers' provision. Monitoring pool plant. Cleaning and upkeep of sports centre and associated facilities. H&S and compliance. Sports Centre administration and first aid.

Hours of Work:

37.5 hours a week, five over seven days a week, all year round, on a three-week rota, including one in three weekends. At weekends, we are only open until 18:00.

Pay Banding: £24,754 - £27,279 (Points 19-23)

Location: On-Site / Warwick Campus

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Reporting Lines: The post holder will report to the Sports Centre Operations Manager.
