The role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and talented practitioner to join our expanding business and economics department. At Shenfield High School business is one of our most popular subjects at both KS4 and KS5. As well as GCSE and A level business we also deliver vocational courses in Enterprise and Marketing at KS4 and BTEC Level 3 Business alongside A Level Economics. The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner or, if new to the profession, will have the potential to be so with the ability to inspire young people in the study of business.

Shenfield High School is a standalone 11-18 Academy with a comprehensive ethos and a commitment to high academic standards supported by a significant investment in pastoral care and wellbeing.
The school is conveniently located close to Shenfield mainline station on the line into London Liverpool Street and home to the eastern terminus of the new cross rail Elizabeth Line.

About Shenfield High School
Shenfield High School is a co-educational, non-denominational 11-18 secondary school located in Brentwood, Essex. At its most recent inspection there were 1,145 students aged 11-18 on the school roll, 350 of whom studied in the sixth form. The area of Shenfield has a population of 5,500 and is serviced by a station on the Liverpool Street Line, which will be the final stop on the Crossrail Elizabeth Line.
Shenfield High School was opened in 1962 and converted to academy status in 2012.
The school is underpinned by its philosophy of "Learning for Life" and promotes Learning, Respoect, Responsibility, Security, community & Success as its key values.
