Required for April or September 2018 we are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Computer Science to join a strong Faculty Team in this high achieving and successful school. The Technology Faculty achieves high academic standards, delivers excellent results, challenges underachievement and is keen to extend the subject beyond the classroom. This is a full time position.
Candidates for the vacancy should have the ability to teach Computer Science to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. The ability to teach KS4 Electronics would be desirable.

Welcome to Tadcaster Grammar School
Tadcaster Grammar School is a thriving, successful and energetic place with a very unique ‘family’ feel. We pride ourselves in knowing our students really well, and our caring and nurturing ethos ensures every student feels safe, secure and happy.
The school enjoys an excellent reputation and attracts a large number of students from outside the official catchment area. Currently, students attend from over 40 primary schools in North Yorkshire, City of York and Leeds education authorities.
The learning environment we offer our students is of a high quality. All subjects are housed in suites of specialist rooms. Over forty classrooms are complemented by Science laboratories and specialist bases for Art, Design and Technology, Food and Nutrition, Textile Technology, Music, Careers and Learning Support. The sports facilities within our very extensive grounds include two gymnasiums, seven tennis courts, many hockey, soccer and rugby pitches, cricket squares, a hard-surface athletics track and a full size floodlit artificial pitch. We have a total of nearly 70 acres.
