Teacher of Computing and Science

This is a really exciting opportunity to join our vibrant Prep School Team. Our school has pupils aged from 3 – 13, with about a third of our school who live in Boarding – many of them from the MOD community or from international countries. We are a kind and inclusive community who thrive on all of the benefits a Prep School education can bring – a conscious intent to maintain the importance of creative subjects in the curriculum, the provision of extra-curricular activities, a focus on excellent academics and enrichment threading all through aspects of school life.

We are looking for a teacher who has a strength in Computing and/or Science – you may not have direct experience of teaching at KS3, but so long as you have a relevant degree and have taken a lead at KS2, we can lead you through the rest. Prep School life is busy and there are commitments outside the classroom which are part of school life, but our classes are small, our staff room supportive and friendly and our pupils fantastic!

Terms of Appointment

This is a full-time fixed-term position to cover maternity leave available from September 2024.

Salary (Wycliffe Teaching Scale depending on chosen pension scheme).
