Job overview
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and ambitious teacher to teach English at St Andrew’s. The English department is very strong with a team of ten excellent teachers. All the students study English Language and English Literature at GCSE and the results are very strong with well over 90% 4+ at GCSE for the past 6 years. Similarly, English is a very popular A Level and the results are outstanding with 100% A*-C and over 80% A*-B for the past few years. This is a great opportunity to join a very strong and dynamic department which has excellent staff. The position would suit an ECT where they would be offered excellent support at the start of their teaching career or it would suit a more experienced teacher looking to join a great department with the possibility of a TLR for the right candidate who is looking to take on responsibility.
