Job overview

We are looking for an outstanding Teacher of Girls' PE at Nunthorpe Academy - Full-Time, Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover) from 01 January 2023 to 31 August 2023.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well-qualified teacher to contribute to the development of a strong and effective department.

The Department

We are a large, experienced and established department offering A-Level PE (OCR), GCSE PE (OCR), Level 2 V-Cert Health and Fitness (NCFE), Sports Leaders and core PE. 

The Candidate

We require an energetic, inspirational and talented teacher. The successful candidate will have the capacity to lead and inspire. They will be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and learning and will have a proven track record of improving outcomes for students. The successful candidate will be able to teach PE across the range of age and ability - Key Stages 3 and 4, ideally having experience teaching V-cert PE. You must have a commitment to extra-curricular sport and a passion to drive girls PE forward.

The successful candidate will have a vision for excellence in their areas of responsibility and ensure high standards are maintained at all times within the Academy.
