We are looking for a well-qualified colleague to join our ambitious and highly skilled History department. You will need to have the knowledge, skills and creativity to be an outstanding teacher, and the ability to teach History across the ability range to years 7 - 13.

The successful candidate will work across Stoke Damerel Community College and Scott Medical & Healthcare College. No additional travel is required as the sites are next door to each other.

Main duties and responsibilities

To work within the History department to contribute to raising student achievement and the continued development of the department.  

● Teach the History curriculum across the ability range to years 7-13

● Teaching the History GCSE course at key stage 4, and potentially key stage 5

● Contribute to enrichment and intervention supports within the History department
