Job overview
A well-qualified and passionate historian is required to join our outstanding History Department. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to teach up to at least GCSE level. History is a very popular subject within the school and has regularly achieved excellent public examination results at GCSE and A-level. In 2023, 44% of students achieved a grade 9 at GCSE, and 96% of students achieved grades 9–7. At A-level, 81% of students achieved grades A*–B.
The person appointed will be an enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher, capable of contributing to the continued success of this highly successful department. The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge, a passion for the subject and the ability to teach up to A-level.

This is a part-time (0.4 FTE) position.
