Holy Cross College is seeking to appoint a Permanent Teacher of IT and Computer Science (0.6 FTE) to commence from 21st August 2024 or 1st September 2024.
You will join us on a salary of £30,500 to £47,133 per annum per annum, plus excellent benefits!
IT and Computer Science form a curriculum cluster with Law, led by the Curriculum Leader and the Assistant Curriculum Leader, overseen by an Assistant Principal.
The successful candidate will become part of a highly professional and effective team of teachers who work together on all aspects of teaching and learning. We remain committed to achieving the very best from ourselves and from our students and there are training opportunities allowing staff to update their skills and knowledge. All staff are involved in planning and evaluating what we do. The role will include the teaching of Computer Science, alongside IT.
At present, courses within the cluster include:
· BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate (2 year course equivalent to 1 A Level)
· BTEC Level 2 Information & Creative Technology
· Eduqas Computer Science Year 1 and Year 2
The cluster has benefited from an extension to the existing building housing IT, Computer Science and Law. The cluster is well equipped with interactive whiteboards in each classroom.
