Job overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified teacher of KS3 History and/or Geography. They should be able to engage and enthuse students of all aptitudes in this high-achieving grammar school. They will be able to share their enjoyment with students by employing a range of teaching strategies as an outstanding classroom practitioner – strategies which provide for challenge, motivation and high student expectations. Flexibility and the ability to innovate are desirable qualities.
This is a part-time (approximately 0.32fte) one year fixed term post starting in September 2024.

Stratford Girls’ Grammar School is a selective girls' 11 to 18 school with 816 girls on roll. The school added an extra form of entry in September 2013, and grew to capacity to 800 in 2017. We are, therefore, still small enough as a secondary school to ensure that all the girls are known to us. Pupils are drawn from an extremely wide catchment area: there is a priority circle with a 17 mile radius, and we also attract students from further afield - from Solihull to Banbury, Evesham to Kenilworth.
