Job overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Maths (KS2/3) to join our dynamic team, who is dedicated to providing the best possible opportunities to our students. Are you passionate about supporting students to have a successful transition from Primary to Secondary education? Can you bring knowledge of Primary pedagogy to our maths department? We are looking to recruit an energetic and inspiring Primary School Teacher, who is passionate about reducing disadvantage and promoting inclusion.

The transition from primary to secondary school can be an exhilarating time for many children with the opportunity to experience new subjects, new activities and make new friends at a bigger school. It can be met with great excitement but in some cases students may experience nervousness at the thought of starting at a new, larger school. Your dedication to fostering a love for learning, promoting student well-being, and facilitating their transition into Key Stage 3 will be vital in their educational journey.

Our excellent Maths Department is looking to build on the high quality of teaching and support that they provide for our students, with the appointment of a Primary trained Teacher with the skills and experience required to teach maths to students in KS3 including those with SEND. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a high degree of adaptability, knowledge of specific learning difficulties, and a true sense of vocation for the role.
