The Role

We are looking to appoint a Science Teacher who wants to join an experienced, supportive, committed faculty and make a real difference with our young people. A forward thinking, dynamic teacher, with a specialism in any of the sciences, will only strengthen our existing team.

The faculty is well-established, well-resourced, and highly supportive. Led by a Head of Faculty, two 2nds in Faculty, a Strategic Lead and a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the team work collaboratively, always putting the needs of our students at the forefront of what we do. We have nine spacious and equipped laboratories, two Science Technicians and a large preparation room located in the centre of the faculty. We would love to show you round our department and our school. Science is taught passionately across all year groups, Year 7 through to Post 16 and Triple Science is offered through our guided Pathways process.

Results in Science are on an upward trend, and we are driven to ensure this continues. This role offers you the opportunity to develop and excel as a teacher, within a strong and effective team of practitioners. We understand that working collaboratively not only improves outcomes, but also reduces workload.
