Job Title:  Teaching Assistant
Location:  Bradford Beacon School, Rooley Lane, Bradford, BD5 8LJ
Hours:      40 hours per week | Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.00am–4.00pm, Tuesday 8.00am-4.30pm, Friday 8.00am–3.30pm
Salary:      £23,638 per annum (not pro rata) 
Contract:  Permanent | Term Time Only
Start:        June 2026

About the Role

You’ll work closely with the Headteacher, leadership team and multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver an outstanding education service in line with regulatory standards. This is a role for a strong leader who can inspire excellence, model best practice and champion the needs of every student.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum coordination, behaviour support, assessment of referrals and high‑quality teaching practice across the school

• Monitor student progress, oversee Behaviour Support Plans with the clinical team and ensure all programmes meet required standards

• Support staff recruitment, development and performance management, modelling company values and maintaining a positive, professional culture

• Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, SEND legislation and all company policies while contributing to effective school operations and community engagement

About You

This role is ideal for a teacher who:

• GCSE 

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, guide and support staff

• A commitment to safeguarding, high standards and inclusive practice

• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams

• A positive, resilient and collaborative approach

Bradford Beacon School, opened in September 2025, is a brand-new specialist independent school for children aged 4–11 with autism and associated complex needs. Set in a purpose-built, thoughtfully refurbished environment, the school provides a safe, nurturing, and inclusive setting where every child feels valued. Pupils follow a broad, enriched curriculum that develops communication, social, emotional, and life skills alongside academic achievement.
