We currently have the following vacancy at Wey Valley Academy, Dorchester Road, Weymouth, Dorset, DT3 5AN – Teaching Assistant
We are looking to recruit a full time Teaching Assistant to work within our Academy providing a comprehensive learning support service and ensuring students achieve their full potential. You will work within a classroom setting assisting the teacher by supporting the learning of our students through planned and differentiated activities, completing, and maintaining records under supervision and promoting and safeguarding the welfare of pupils.
Enthusiasm, passion, and a great sense of humour is essential as is a high level of personal commitment. The successful candidate will be required to have excellent Maths and English skills – equivalent to GCSE grade C or above. Previous experience in a school setting would be beneficial but is not essential, however the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate that they can engage with young people and build positive relationships.

Wey Valley Academy is a 990 PAN- pupil school which currently has 863 students. Wey Valley Academy joined Ambitions Academy Trust in 2019 and educates Boys and Girls aged between 11 and 16.
