Progress School is an independent specialist day and residential school for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 who have mild, moderate and severe autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex learning needs and challenging behaviour.


Our aim is to bring about the best in every young person to enable them to achieve positive experiences and progress according to their own individual abilities. The desired outcome is for young people to achieve success in accredited qualifications and to gain increased levels of independence to enable them to maximise their strengths, abilities and ambitions.


We have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant at Progress School. The successful candidate will undertake education support duties and assist the class teacher in the day to day needs of the pupils in their care, to enable the teacher to implement the curriculum and respond to the pupils’ needs. To maintain complete confidentiality on all site matters. The successful candidate will have an NVQ3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.


This role is Term time only 39 weeks a year. Working 37.5 hours a week Monday-Friday 8.30am  - 4.30pm
