Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join our Prep School. You should be enthusiastic, energetic and have a passion for working with children.

We are looking for a highly committed, qualified Teaching Assistant to provide support for pupils through curriculum learning, pastoral care and general support to the whole school and designated teachers. This position would suit someone who can work as part of a team, be flexible to respond to changing needs and have effective display skills for classroom/corridor displays.

The ability to liaise with and involve parents in their child's educational journey is a key aspect of the role. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in interpersonal communication, eager to collaborate with others, and dedicated to our extracurricular activities.

If you are passionate about the life chances of young people and possess the expertise required to teach in an environment where children of mixed abilities excel, then we would love to hear from you.

Cognita Schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.

Safer recruitment practice and pre-employment background checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed.
