Job overview

Based onsite at Brooke Weston Academy, the Northamptonshire Teaching School Hub provides evidence-based qualifications across the Golden Thread of teacher development, helping teachers to progress from their initial teacher training (ITT) through to headship. Led by Brooke Weston Trust, we are designated by the DfE as a school-led centre of excellence in professional development, serving all schools across Northamptonshire. We proudly deliver the Early Career Framework and the suite of National Professional Qualifications to teachers across the county.

Our mission is to grow teacher and leader expertise, in every school, to best support every child.

The Early Career Framework is a significant part of our offer to schools. We believe that securing foundational expertise in teaching is key to a successful career. We are committed to helping new teachers thrive in our educational community.

As Early Career Lead, you’ll work closely with the NTSH Director to lead the ECF provision, ensuring that ECTs, mentors and school leaders receive high quality support and guidance. This role would suit an experienced Teacher Educator who has a secure knowledge of the evidence and practice of supporting teacher development.

Additional leadership responsibilities for the Appropriate Body and/or Facilitation Team will be discussed at interview.
