Starting Salary: LG level 4 point 13. Actual pro-rata salary: £16,010 pa
Salary range: LG level 4 point 13 – 18 £17,391 pa – £18,870 pa
Actual pro-rata salary range: £16,010 – £17,372 pa
The successful candidate will be required to provide effective and efficient technician support to the Resistant Materials Department. They must be friendly, flexible and enthusiastic and possess the ability to work in a team whilst having excellent innovative and problem solving skills. Experience of working with young people in an area related to this subject is essential as is having a subject related qualification or equivalent gained through substantial relevant work experience.

About Chase High School
Chase High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Westcliff-on-Sea , near Southend, Essex. It educates more than 1,000 students aged 11-18 from over 40 countries. Since 2011, the school has had a sixth form.
Chase High School was built more than 100 years ago and recently secured academy status under the Brentwood Academies Trust. The secondary school continues to be involved in the community, forging local and international partnerships.

At Chase High School, academic achievement and personal performance are pursued in equal measure. Within the lower school, students gain the opportunity to study Mathematics, English, Science, PE, Technology, ICT, French, Geography, History, RE, Citizenship, Music, Art and Drama.
Every year, pupils can participate in trips to national galleries, museums and Shakespeare's Globe theatre. They also have the chance to visit France, Berlin and European ski destinations. The sixth-form programme offers a wide range of A Level and BTEC courses at Level 3.
Every student matters and the school policy is to treat everyone with dignity and support. Pupils receive support at key times, such as their transition from primary school.

“The training programmes for improving the quality of teaching are proving successful. Specific training for overseas teachers has had a highly positive impact since the last monitoring visit. The school now has good systems to support and develop newly and recently qualified teachers.”
