We are looking for a Vice Principal for Behaviour and Culture who would love to make a difference in our school. The core purpose of this role will be to lead and manage continuous improvement in students’ engagement in learning, their behaviour, attitudes to learning and attendance in order to substantially improve outcomes. At the Ellis Guilford School, we work together to create an ethos characterised by high expectations and a community in which children and staff feel valued.

Our ideal candidate will have:

·      A strong track record of senior leadership.

·      Proven ability to substantially raise standards of behaviour and attendance.

·      Skills and experience of school improvement processes and how these drive outcomes.

·      In depth knowledge of the 11-19 curriculum.

·      Strong analytical skills, ability to influence others, can do attitude, resilient.

·      Qualified Teacher Status, degree and teaching qualification and ideally NPQH alongside a sustained record of professional development.
