We are seeking a qualified Visual Arts Teacher who has experience in teaching visual arts and culture with primary students from Prep to Year 6. Holy Family School has a long and proud tradition of promoting the Arts in our curriculum and school. We have flourished under the leadership of many talented and dedicated Arts teachers over the years and now with the retirement of our Art Teacher, we look forward to continuing our Arts focus with a new teacher who would bring creativity and enthusiasm to the classroom and our school. The new Art Teacher will have a dedicated fully stocked Art Centre as their teaching and learning environment. As we would timetable Art classes to coincide with Performing Arts classes, we would require the Arts Teacher to teach on Mondays (Prep - Year 2) and Tuesdays (Year 3 - 6). The Arts teacher must also be fully registered with QCT and be able to be accredited to teach in a Catholic School.
Holy Family School caters for primary students and has an approximate enrolment of 250 students, situated in Indooroopilly. Our motto is of "Strength and Gentleness" and is born from St Brigid and the Brigidine Sisters who founded our school community. Holy Family School has a rich tradition of providing an inclusive, Catholic education to the families of Indooroopilly and beyond. Together, our staff and parents work to form a life long learning community that seeks to build a more just world through quality education.
