Are you a primary teacher with Key Stage 2 experience? An OFSTED graded ‘Good’ primary school situated near Central Birmingham are seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspirational practitioner. The successful candidate will bring their own drive and innovation to ensure an outstanding outcome for pupils. This position is full-time, long-term and based in a Year 5 class. The cohort of the class pupils contain a high proportion of EAL pupils which is higher than the national average.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 5 national curriculum
  • Experienced teaching within a primary school and familiar with related procedures
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, team player and high expectations of yourself and your children
  • To motivate other members of staff and lead as a performance management reviewer
  • QTS & eligibility to work within the UK. (NQT’s will be considered for this post)

The school itself is easily accessible via public transport with links including Bus and Train from Birmingham City Centre. There is also on-site parking for car drivers.
