Year 6 Teacher (Temporary Sickness Cover)

Unfortunately, our Year Six Teacher will be off on long-term sickness leave after half term. 

We are looking for a teacher for the remainder of the academic year. 

We are able to offer full-time or part-time applications.

Due to staff illness we are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Year Six to join a well-established Prep School and teach for the rest of this academic year. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Prep to promote a lifelong love of learning.

The Prep School has a reputation for the quality of its education and the strength of its pastoral care. Strong emphasis is placed upon children developing strong learning habits during their time in the Prep School with emphasis placed on academic and personal development.

Stonar is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 2 to 18, which was rated excellent by ISI in October 2018 for both pupil achievement and personal development. Our pupils regularly achieve outstanding results, which are beyond expectations both academically and personally. We pride ourselves on our ability to nurture the learning needs of every individual in a respectful, supportive and globally-minded community. All teaching staff are expected to proactively support the pastoral aims of the school and a willingness to be involved in the extra-curricular life of this busy boarding school is required. Stonar is situated in over 80 acres of beautiful Wiltshire countryside, yet only a 20 minute drive from the World Heritage City of Bath and within easy reach of the M4 corridor.

This is a temporary post with opportunity to be full or part time.
