Job overview

Who we are

Anthem is a a multi-academy trust (MAT) that owns and runs a number of schools, including some in your local area. We are legally accountable for the educational and financial performance of each school in the group and for reporting these to the Government.

Our vision is that together, we create ambitious and successful schools in which every child thrives.

Why we need your help

We are changing the way governance works in our schools, replacing traditional governing bodies with Anthem Community Councils (ACCs).

This is where local people come in... to act as ACC Champions in key areas to ensure the interests and needs of the school and wider communities are known, understood, and acted upon.

What’s in it for you?

As Community Champion, you will be in the thick of things - using your enthusiasm for people and making connections to find ways to keep the school at the heart of the community. This is your chance to create opportunities for children and young people through building relationships between the school and local groups, businesses, and organisations.

Working alongside our professional marketing and communications team, and Community Champions from other ACCs, you will also gain valuable support and insights to enhance your own skills and experience.

To find out more information and submit an expression of interest please contact Pippa Truman Davies, Community Chair on ptrumandavies@anthemtrust.uk
