Salary: Leadership Scale, Points 3 – 7 (£49,573 - £54,816 per year)

This a permanent, full-time position

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher to support our leadership teams at The Lantern Community Primary School and Downham Feoffees Primary Academy. Both schools are located in close proximity within Ely and this will be a highly rewarding role supporting the two schools. The primary focus of the role will be to continue to drive standards and pupil progress by supporting teaching and learning and fostering greater collaboration between the two schools.  As Assistant Headteacher, you will also be required to work with other senior leaders across the Trust to continue to develop outstanding practice.

• Is an outstanding class teacher with experience of teaching across the primary age range
• Has led school improvement initiatives and is committed to achieving high standards
• Possesses outstanding communication skills and can work well in teams
• Has a thorough understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
