Shooters Hill Sixth Form College are seeking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Principal to join our supportive, friendly, and highly performing Senior Leadership Team for the start of the Spring term, this academic year. This is an opportunity for an experienced Assistant Principal, or a talented Middle Leader looking for a promotion, in a thriving college.

Shooters Hill Sixth Form College is a 16 -19 institution located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We are constituted as an Academy but inspected under the Education Inspection Framework for Further Education and Skills. We provide an enriched and inclusive learning experience for the diverse community we serve. We are a proud provider of high-quality standards of education and training to improve the life chances of our young people in the local community. Rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in September 2019, inspectors found “Senior leaders have a coherent strategy for courses that are suited to the students who come to the college. They have put in place a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of their students.”

We are looking to appoint an inspirational strategic and operational senior leader with a proven track record of success in raising standards and excellent management skills. You will demonstrate leading improvement strategies in an educational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all aspects of college life operate efficiently and effectively. Maintaining that the college has the best working environment for both students and staff. You will have responsibility for the following support staff management teams, Digital Services, Estates and Careers. Lead on student enrolment, induction and parent/carer engagement.
