The Chiltern Way Academy (CWA) is a cutting edge and transformational Special Needs school working with students who are on the Autistic Spectrum and students with Social, Emotional, Communication and Interaction Difficulties (SECID).
We are expanding rapidly and as new posts are created it is an exciting time to join us.
We need Assistant Teachers with presence and excellent interpersonal skills who want to develop professionally. You will work closely with the teachers to enhance the learning experience of small groups of students in a classroom setting and undertake one-to-one mentoring and support.
You will join a talented, loyal and hardworking team dedicated to improving outcomes for our children.

Welcome to Chiltern Way Academy Wendover. This is a very special school providing education and care for up to 176 young people with a primary diagnosis of ASC aged between 11-19.
We are proud to have gained an Outstanding rating from Ofsted in September 2021 and to hold the National Autistic Society Advanced Accreditation.
We aim to ensure that all our children are prepared for the future and have designed and implemented a curriculum to support students to achieve their best possible outcomes. This includes an equal focus on academic potential and lifeskills, underpinning this is our core offering to support personal development. Together this offers our students the best chances of leaving us at the age of 16 - 19 to pursue further education, employment or training. We are proud that all our students leave us with a destination they have chosen and feel prepared for.
