Job overview

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team and be involved in supporting the smooth running of the school by managing student attendance records and providing the school with general receptionist and administrative support. This role is 36 hours per week, Term time plus one week with paid annual leave plus bank holidays.

What does the role involve?

The role of the Attendance Officer and Administrator will be supporting the day-to-day operations relating to school attendance and administration. The successful candidate will maintain and update all attendance data systems within the school, ensuring that parents are communicated with effectively and pupils are supported appropriately. Additionally, the post holder will provide accurate and clear attendance information and lead on all aspects of attendance management, with particular emphasis on student attendance data and reporting. In addition, this role will also provide administrative support to the Admission Officer and Senior Administrator.

We are looking for someone who is able to work proactively, independently, and also as part of a school team. Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to prioritise work under pressure, remain organise and have the ability to relate well to colleagues, students, parents and member of the public.
