Job overview
We are an Outstanding Primary Special School (Ofsted September 2011 & March 2015) for pupils with SLD and complex needs.
We are a rapidly expanding school and opened a new additional site in September 2016; hence this is an exciting phase in our development. Both sites are very well resourced, with high quality facilities including superb grounds and outside equipment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lively, dedicated and supportive team of professionals who deliver the very best learning opportunities to our special needs children.
Experience of working in a special school is not essential but you must be adaptable, motivated and able to deliver exciting fun & personalised lessons.
NQTs are welcome to apply. We have a comprehensive induction programme and actively encourage staff to be innovative, creative and reflective.
We are extremely proud of our school, which has an excellent reputation and we welcome visits or alternatively please contact us if you have any queries. Ofsted quote (March 15) “Teachers and teaching assistants work extremely well together in setting high expectations for pupils’ learning and behaviour in lessons.
Pupils are valued as individuals and the school does much to raise their self esteem. Pupils love coming to school because it is a very happy place”
