"Parkfield is a 2 form entry Primary School in North West London with 450 children on roll.   We especially love our large nursery which is an excellent learning environment for our 2 and 3 year olds.  Between them our staff and pupils can speak around 60 languages and we celebrate our diverse cultural backgrounds.  Our approach to the curriculum is creative and emphasises cross curricular links and exciting and memorable experiences, encouraging children to take risks and explore.  We are fortunate to work in a modern building with some great learning spaces, including a very large and beautiful library.  We also have considerable outside space and move the learning out there whenever possible.  The Northern Line, West Hendon overground, Brent Cross Shopping Centre and the Welsh Harp reservoir are all in easy walking distance from school so we use the local area and travel in to London with the children as often as possible. We are proud to be a part of the Elliot Foundation Academies Trust. This gives us access to a rich programme of professional development, support from a team committed to improving outcomes for disadvantaged children and opportunities to work with schools in London, the Midlands and East Anglia.  For more information about our curriculum, our values and why Parkfield is such a special community, please visit our website www.parkfieldschool.com"
