Classroom Teacher

This is a varied role and every day is different! Children within the SRP are valued members of both their mainstream class and the SRP and each child has a personalised timetable setting out when they will be based within the SRP and when they will access mainstream lessons. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, has excellent communication skills and is a good team player.

Within this role, you will:

• Support children to complete their learning, both within the specialist resource provision and in their mainstream classes.
• Deliver interventions and programmes such as speech and language therapy or occupational therapy
• Work on both a 1:1 and small group basis
• Liaise with external therapists and other professionals
• Track children’s progress towards their targets
• Provide individualised feedback to parents
