Job overview
Vision for Education are looking to recruit Degree qualified Cover Supervisors in the Doncaster area for daily supply cover. Ideally you will have previous experience of Cover Supervision, however training can be provided for applicants with the right attitudes and passions. The role of a Cover Supervisor is always evolving, and although not teaching – you will be responsible for the behaviour and engagement of a number of Secondary aged children within a classroom setting.
The schools we are working with in the Doncaster area are highly respected mainstream Secondary schools with generally good behaviour throughout. This is achieved by structured behaviour policies and zero tolerance approaches – which you will find in all of our partnered schools in the area.
Should you have a passion for the wellbeing and academic achievement of the next generation, and the confidence and ability to step up, lead lessons and keep a group of up to 32 11-18 year olds on task, we would like to hear from you.
We require all Cover Supervisors who register with Vision for Education to have a current valid DBS registered to the update service, or able to complete a Vision for Education DBS, references covering the last 2 years of your career, trained to degree level and are not currently subject to an outstanding investigation.
Please ensure to bring along with you:
· DBS/CRB registered to the Update Service
· 2 proofs of address dated within the last 3 months
· Passport or Driving licence and Birth certificate
· Qualification Certificates.
· Certifications, e.g. Team Teach, NPECTS etc.
