Full time (30 hours per week), Part Time or Casual Contract - Term time only

Full time equivalent salary range: £30,296 - £34,834 per annum (Grade D)

Actual salary range: £20,540 - £23,177 per annum

Hourly rate range: £15.70 - £18.06

An additional £2,660 per annum maximum can be earned as a casual lunchtime supervisor if

desired (paid as worked)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our successful team of Cover Supervisors who are critical in

supporting the behaviour and learning of our students.

The cover supervisor’s main role is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task

with the work they have been set. We are looking for someone who has succeeded in a similar role

who can provide daily cover for the short-term absence of teachers offer in-class support to individuals

or groups of children in the classroom under the supervision of the classroom teacher. You will need

to be able to work with identified children individually outside of the classroom as appropriate and

have the ability to maintain records on student progress and input relevant information into computer

records. You will have good levels of initiative in order to perform the varied duties and have the

knowledge and skills to support our students with their variety of needs to ensure they thrive at Light

Hall and beyond. You will be joining us at a very exciting time. We will be adding a sixth form to our

educational provision in 2024. This brings with it numerous opportunities for continued development.
