Job overview

The Trustees are looking to appoint suitably motivated and skilled Cover Supervisors to provide classroom supervision in the event of absent teachers and generally support the smooth operation of the schools’ curriculum provision during the school day.

Excellent instruction skills, ability to communicate and engage with young people to explain ideas and support their learning and good behaviour management are essential criteria for candidates.

Casual hours - as and when required daily - to support the school with providing general supervision to students. This post would appeal to retired teachers, undergraduate students (University downtime), people wanting to enter into teaching or suitably experienced personnel who would like to work with young people in a school environment.

In our most recent Ofsted inspection, in October 2021, we maintained our status as a ‘good’ school. We offer a friendly, supportive working environment, which values talented, committed staff and offers excellent professional development opportunities.
